Embedded hardware and the software that reviews it

Laulima Sensing designs field hardware for monitoring and supervision, and the software used to review what that hardware recorded.

An engineer working at a laptop beside a wiring harness on a test bench.

Laulima is a Hawaiian word for cooperative work. The company takes its name from that, because a monitoring installation depends on the device in the field, the link that carries its data, and the person reading it.

A project runs from a description of the site through to installed hardware and a page for later review. If you have a location or a process that needs to be checked from elsewhere, send a description of it.

Areas of work

Field hardware

Controllers, sensor modules, and gateways for installed use. The power source is part of the design, whether the site is on a battery budget or has a supply.

Communications

Wi-Fi, cellular LTE-M, and other links specified for the site. The gateway forwards the samples logged by the controller.

Readings

UTC timestamps, with values kept as sent by the device and shown in engineering units. The operator page provides a chart, a table, and a CSV file.

Send the site details

Send the location, the measurements, and how the data needs to be viewed. The form asks for the reply address.
